Virginia A. Schekorra, DO, FAAD, FAOCD, attended A.T. Still University–Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 1988. Then, she served a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital (1988-1992), followed by her residency training in dermatology at Metropolitan General Hospital (1992-1995). In addition, Dr. Schekorra received board certification in dermatology from the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. Prior to medical school she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeast Missouri State University, now Truman State University, in Kirksville, Missouri, in 1981. Dr. Schekorra attained Fellowship of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD) as well as Fellowship of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (FAOCD).
